This league focuses on Siege, the weapons based strategy mod, which has public servers that are literally filled 24/7.

MLCTF XXII Promo

It's time. Time to put up or shut up. Time to test your mettle against your fellow fraggers and flag runners in another season of Major League Capture The Flag. We're going back to our roots with a proven format for the twenty-second installment of MLCTF. The league will commence in approximately 2 weeks time, with a draft on Sunday, September 18. Player signups will close on Friday, September 16. This season will be condensed into a 3 week round-robin style regular season followed by a single elimination playoff round. Match day is tentatively set to Sunday only (during the regular season, 4 matches will be played Sunday nights barring reschedules). Signups are now open here. We're also looking for dedicated individuals to help make this season a success in various supporting roles including the following:

CAPTAINS
We're looking for 8 quality captains this season. Captain's responsibilities include naming and drafting a competitive team, making team decisions regarding lineups and the like, idling in #mlut to receive communication from admins, taking and submitting screenshots, reading up on the rules and keeping their players in line.

Signups are now open for the next season of MLIG. Sign up here. There will be quite a few differences this season. First and foremost, IT'S REG. Reg returns to IG and it's bringing prizes, new maps, and a whole new admin staff with it. We realize there will be ping issues for some. To help accommodate our european counterparts, the season may be restricted to east coast servers only. Following the finals of the current season, #MLIG will convert to reg pugs instead of zp. If you'd like to get a head start, you can join #RegPug or type "mutate zp_off" in any zp pug.

Admins
To give the current admin team a rest, Talisman will be head admin this season and he's bringing a whole new team with him: Dewsick, Ragdoll, Annihilator, Silkk, Dray, JYB, Kyle, CY, along with match admin Blade. This season will also feature a brand new admin position. Congratulations to the first MLIG Marketing Director, Intention.

Maps
The map list is currently a pool of 50 maps. Depending on the number of player signups, the map list will be revised and narrowed down by admins, and finally opened for voting by the community. You get to pick which maps you want to play. The map selection this season will use the map weeks system with 4 maps per round.

Prizes
This season will have a number of awards with prizes going to the winners. At the end of the season we will have a live awards show via shoutcast to announce the winners. The....
